Mbumba leads the company's strategic direction, partnerships and innovation agenda to build scalable, technology-driven platforms. Her expertise spans tech research, digital systems design and programme delivery, with extensive experience working with governments across Southern Africa on digital transformation, energy transition and institutional reform. She holds an MSc in Informatics and is currently completing her MBA.
Daniel Mvalo
Chief Operating Officer
Daniel is a technology and innovation specialist with over a decade of experience building digital solutions across education, health, governance and human rights in Africa. As former Technical and Development Manager at mHub, Malawi's first technology and innovation hub, he oversaw programming and developed in-house technology solutions addressing critical challenges. He has led award-winning projects including Thanzi Lathu (maternal health), Mzinda (citizen engagement), Ufulu Wanga (gender-based violence reporting) and election monitoring systems deployed across eight African countries. A passionate advocate for digital literacy, Daniel has trained over 6,000 teachers and 20,000 students in programming and digital skills, and led robotics, AI and coding programmes for children. At Rohi, he drives operational excellence, ensuring our teams and processes deliver at the standard our clients expect across the continent.
Noble Hara
Co-Founder & Chief Technology Officer
Noble is the technical backbone of Rohi Platforms. With over ten years of hands-on software development experience spanning C#, mobile applications, and Laravel/PHP, he architects the systems that power our solutions. His passion lies in building technology that works in the real conditions of African connectivity - robust, efficient, and accessible to all users regardless of their device or network.
Henry Ngwira
Chief Financial Officer
Henry is a results-driven accounting professional who oversees Rohi Platforms' financial operations. With experience spanning financial reporting, tax compliance, and audit at firms including Ernst & Young and BDO Chartered Accountants, he brings rigorous financial discipline to everything we do. His expertise in management accounts, cash flow forecasting, and statutory compliance ensures that our growth is built on a solid financial foundation. Henry holds a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from the Malawi College of Accountancy and is a CPA candidate with ICAM.
Simon Banda
Head of Creative
Simon is a digital artist based in Blantyre whose work weaves together African visual traditions with contemporary digital techniques. Drawing inspiration from artists like Zdzislaw Beksinski, he creates designs that are both distinctive and deeply rooted in local aesthetics. At Rohi, he leads the creative vision behind our products - ensuring that everything we build not only works well but looks and feels authentically African. When he's not designing interfaces, he dreams of creating concept art for film.
